ATM fees keep on increasing, new study finds
While interest rates are going down, ATM fees keep going up.
The average cost of an out-of-network ATM withdrawal reached a new high of $4.72, personal finance web site Bankrate.com reported in its latest study on checking account and automated teller machine fees.
That doesn't sound like much for a single transaction, but doing it once a week will cost over $245 a year.
