You really shouldn’t worry about a robot stealing your job, according to Google’s chief economist.
“Automation typically does not eliminate entire job categories, but it eliminates the dull, tedious, repetitive tasks that go into making up that job,” Hal Varian said Tuesday evening at an event given by the Case Western Reserve University Department of Economics at the Weatherhead School of Management.
