Amsterdam targets 5G network ready for Euro 2020

The city of Amsterdam said it wants to play a key role in the roll-out of 5G networks in the Netherlands. Ger Baron, the CTO of the municipal government, presented the plans at the Mobile World Congress. The city aims to have 5G ready in time for the Euro football tournament in 2020, which will take place in several European cities, including Amsterdam.
