AMC promotes Barnett after losing executive to Fox

AMC Networks Inc. named Sarah Barnett its new president of entertainment networks.

Previously the head of AMC Networks' BBC America division, Barnett was responsible for bringing to life hit shows such as "Killing Eve" (which garnered actress Sandra Oh an Emmy nomination) and "Orphan Black" (which did win an Emmy award for actress for Tatiana Maslany).
