Amazon rises on Whole Foods expansion report:Giant looks to add shops amid customer growth
Amazon has pushed to expand in the $840 billion grocery business since it bought Whole Foods for $13.7 billion in 2017.
Amazon.com shares rose Monday after a report said the company plans to expand its Whole Foods grocery stores in the United States.
The stock climbed 1.62 percent to close at $1,501.97 on the Nasdaq.
