Alberta wants Ottawa to clarify what free, prior and informed consent means before UNDRIP implementation

Last week on Dec. 16, Treaty 6 became the third group of First Nations to sign a protocol agreement with the Alberta government in 15 months. The agreement sets out how the province and the nations will work together to address economic and social issues.
