A Hawley win Tuesday could have domino effect on Missouri Republicans
JEFFERSON CITY - For the second time in his short tenure as Missouri's chief executive, Gov. Mike Parson may be appointing someone to a statewide office .
If Missouri voters elect Republican Josh Hawley to the U.S. Senate on Tuesday, Parson will be charged with filling the vacant attorney general post, just as he filled the lieutenant governor's seat after he took over as governor on June 1.
