With several research centers, an extensive health system and nearly 200
years of history, Thomas Jefferson University (TJU) is one of the premier
medical schools in the United States. The university divides its
academics and research into six schools and colleges:
* College of Graduate Studies
* Medical College
* School of Health Professions
* School of Nursing
* School of Pharmacy
* School of Population Health
These academic divisions provide support for every area of study in
health and medicine, from Biomedical Science to Public Health. Graduate
certificates, master’s degrees and doctoral degrees are available, and
the School of Nursing offers many baccalaureate programs, as well.
Because of the wide range of programs available, admissions procedures
vary at Thomas Jefferson University. For example, in the College of
Graduate Studies, the deadline for PhD applications is January 5, while
applications for the MS program are accepted throughout the year.
Similarly, each TJU school has its own FAFSA code, so make sure to use
the right one when you apply for financial aid. Though opportunities vary
by program, all TJU schools offer a combination of state, federal, and
institutional grants, scholarships and fellowships to help you manage the
cost of tuition for your program.
