WIN won't push for creditors' vote on Murdoch's Ten bid

WIN Corporation has abandoned an attempt to have the bid for Network Ten by Lachlan Murdoch and Bruce Gordon put to the free-to-air broadcaster's creditors for a vote alongside the CBS proposal.

Andrew Bell SC, acting for WIN, had attempted to add an amendment to its court action against Ten's administrator to force KordaMentha to put the alternative proposal by Birketu and Illyria, the private investment vehicles of Mr Gordon and Mr Murdoch respectively, to creditors at next Tuesday's mee
