Walsh hoping to sway feds to restore cuts

Mayor Martin J. Walsh said he’s hoping to meet with President Trump’s administration to make his case for restoring cuts to Meals on Wheels and other programs and said City Hall officials have been in touch with the White House.

“At some point it’s important for us to have a conversation with intergovernmental relations at the White House, because you need to try and build that relationship up,” Walsh said.
