Union Savings adds branches, extends reach to another state

Union Savings Bank, one of Cincinnati's largest locally based banks, is planning to add three new branches at a time many banks are cutting back on their branch networks.

Symmes Township-based Union Savings has filed applications with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. to open one branch each in suburban Pittsburgh; Greenwood, Ind., and Xenia. The Pittsburgh-area branch in suburban Gibsonia marks Union Savings' first entry into Pennsylvania.
