Trump too late on hate, critics say

washington - President Trump spoke out Tuesday against a series of bomb threats against Jewish community centers after coming under fire for sidestepping opportunities to condemn anti-Semitic acts.

Anti-discrimination groups and Democrats said the statement was too long in the making.

Touring a new museum devoted to African-American history, Trump said Tuesday he would do what he could to improve race relations and denounced threats and vandalism aimed at Jews.
