Trump stands by wiretap claim

WASHINGTON - A combative White House refused to back down from President Donald Trump's unsubstantiated assertion that his predecessor ordered the wiretapping of Trump Tower, demanding a congressional investigation into his claims, even as the director of the FBI took the extraordinary step of asking the Justice Department to publicly repudiate the president's charge.
