Teen charged in threat to shoot up Howell High

A 17-year-old Howell High School student's tweets saying that she'd "shoot up" the school is a "phase," her brother said.

Matthew Hiler said his younger sister, Sarah M. Hiler, who is charged with making a false threat of terrorism, was bullied in school. He said classmates made fake Facebook pages using her photographs and started untrue rumors, including that she was pregnant.

"I don't believe she'd actually do it," he said following Sarah Hiler's arraignment in Livingston County
