South African police probe heist at Johannesburg airport

JOHANNESBURG (AP) - South African police are investigating an armed robbery at the main international airport in Johannesburg.

Officials say the heist happened Tuesday evening at O.R. Tambo International Airport.

Police investigators are at the scene. Authorities have not commented on South African media reports that thieves posing as police intercepted security guards as they were transporting money to a waiting airplane.
