School threat case sentencing put off

The Detroit News

Pontiac - The sentencing of a Brandon High senior charged with making a false threat of terrorism at his school was adjourned Wednesday at the request of his attorney, who is collecting letters of support.

Jacob Michael Young, 17, of Ortonville was scheduled to be sentenced by Oakland Circuit Judge Wendy Potts but the matter was adjourned until March 25 to provide attorney Deanna Kelley more time to review sentencing guideline calculations that are in dispute.
