Roy Moore campaign manager seeks Alabama congressional seat

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - The man who ran Roy Moore's failed campaign for the U.S. Senate is running for Congress in Alabama.

Rich Hobson announced Wednesday that he is running as a Republican for the 2nd District congressional seat now held by Rep. Martha Roby.

In addition to being Moore's campaign manager, Hobson twice served as Alabama's administrative director of courts while Moore was chief justice. He also served as director of Moore's Foundation of Moral Law.
