Rel Jio gets 2-year extension for data centre in B`luru

The Karnataka government has granted an extension of two years to Reliance Jio Infocomm to establish an internet data centre in Bengaluru.The data centre project was first mooted by Infotel Broadband Services, which was acquired by Mukesh Ambani in 2010. Infotel was the only company to buy panIndia spectrum and its acquisition equipped Reliance Jio with a pan-India 20MHz broadband wireless spectrum in the 2,300 MHz frequency in 22 telecom circles.
