A possible cluster of casinos is being carved out west of Boston.
Connecticut’s two federally recognized tribes say they are on the cusp of announcing a location for a proposed casino near the Massachusetts border — a move that would add competition to the MGM Resorts International Casino slated to open in Springfield next year.
The tribes have narrowed their possible sites in the Nutmeg State to East Windsor and Windsor Locks.
