Official: 2 Schools To Have Fire Alarms By April 7 : But Alarms At Norwood, Holliman School Won’t Be Fully Upgraded Until Summer

WARWICK \x97 Norwood and Holliman Elementary Schools will have operational fire alarm systems by April 7, and a problem with a sewer pipe at the Warwick Veterans Memorial Junior High School has been fixed.

That was the news Schools Supt. Philip Thornton shared Monday, a few days after parents, teachers and City Councilors were outraged to learn about the broken alarm systems.

Jensen Hughes, a fire alarm design and engineering firm, will replace the dated alarm systems at the schools
