In fact, sources identify downtown's historic buildings as prime locations for successful retail spots since they are aesthetically appealing with brick and other features. Plus, there's already an established, high-density customer base in the area . Specifically, there's a trend of putting office space on the upper floors and retail on the bottom to balance daytime and nighttime parking needs.
