Murdoch Uni takes student union to court

Murdoch University is pursuing the head of the National Tertiary Education Union in Western Australia for allegedly coercing it not to axe its union agreement.

The Federal Court last month allowed the university to proceed with the case, which alleges union rallies, Facebook posts and tweets can be unlawful coercion, after considering it raised legal questions that had not yet determined by the courts.
