Moody's closes senior notes offering

Moody's Corp. closed its offering of $500 million of 2.75% senior unsecured notes due 2021 and $300 million of floating-rate notes due 2018.

Wells Fargo Bank NA is the calculating agent for determining the interest rate of the floating-rate notes, which will equal the three-month LIBOR rate plus 0.35 percentage points.

The net proceeds of the offering are expected to be used for general corporate purposes, including working capital, capital expenditures, acquisitions or investments,
