Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan announced his re-election bid Saturday, touting the city's post-bankruptcy momentum while acknowledging work remains to make the city a desirable place to raise families.
Taking the stage at the Samaritan Center on the city's east side, Duggan described a growing pride among Detroiters, improved services and stable city finances.
