Manassas man dies after stabbing woman and himself, police say

The suspect in a fatal stabbing of a Manassas woman last month has died of self-inflicted injuries, police said Wednesday.

On Feb. 17 at around 6:20 p.m., police responded to the 7300 block of Forrester Lane in Manassas for the report of a stabbing, Prince William County police said in a statement. They found that 40-year-old Silvia Patricia Ramos Guillen and 46-year-old Jose Amilcar Velis, both of Manassas, had been involved in a domestic dispute in the home, the statement said. Police s
