Man arrested after Bordertown crime series

A man has been arrested and is undergoing a mental health assessment following several incidents at Bordertown in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Police were called to Campbell Street at Bordertown about 4.45am on Wednesday 1 February after a man allegedly broke into a home and confronted the occupants.

The man was armed with a sledgehammer and verbally threatened the four residents before leaving. He was located and arrested a short time later by police at his home address. No
