Kansas governor vetoes Medicaid expansion, teeing up fight with state legislature

Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback (R) on Thursday vetoed a bill that would have expanded Medicaid in the deep-red state under terms set by the Affordable Care Act, pitting him against the state legislature - including many members of his own party - which overwhelmingly voted in favor of the measure earlier this week.
