Justice Department: Trump's immigration order does not affect Privacy Shield

March 01, 2017 | An executive order on immigration signed by President Trump in January does not affect the Privacy Shield framework, designed to enable companies in the U.S. to handle EU citizens' personal data, or the so-called Umbrella Agreement negotiated by the two governments, the Justice Department has told the EU.
