In protest, a day without women : Local businesses hosting events to highlight economic disparities

Chicago businesses are preparing for "A Day Without a Woman," a strike-boycott hybrid scheduled for Wednesday that aims to call attention to what activists say are economic injustices faced by women.

The day piggybacks on the women's marches that took place in Washington, D.C., Chicago and places across the country in January after President Donald Trump took office.
