Glasgow schools to have unisex toilets

New primary schools in Glasgow will no longer have boys' and girls' bathrooms and will instead label them "unisex" to help children struggling with gender identity issues, the council has announced.

The initiative, which is to be introduced in three schools currently under construction, has led to protests from parents concerned that the genderless bathrooms intrude on their children's privacy. However, Glasgow council claims that the policy will help provide a less intimidating experience
