Enel Green Power begins work on $300m wind farm in Mexico

Enel Green Power Mexico (EGPM), the Mexican renewable energy subsidiary of energy group Enel, has begun construction on the 200MW wind farm in Coahuila, Mexico.

The wind farm, known as Amistad, will entail an investment of approximately $300m. It will have an installed capacity of 200MW and will generate more than 750GWh each year, which is enough to meet the consumption needs of around 450,000 Mexican households.Enel's head of renewable energies for Central America and Enel Green Power Me
