A baby sitter facing involuntary manslaughter and child endangering charges over the drowning death of a child in her care pleaded not guilty Thursday during her arraignment in Lorain County Common Pleas Court.

Elizabeth Zenda, 48, was freed on bond after being booked into Lorain County Jail earlier this week.

Her defense attorney, Doug Merrill, declined to comment on the case after Thursdays hearing.
