As a teenager, Sandy Jadeja dreamt of becoming an astronaut, while his father wanted him to be a doctor. Jadeja studied engineering instead, but hated it. It turns out, however, that he got all the preparation he needed for his eventual career choice at home. His father nagged him constantly about the need to equip himself with numerical and trading skills. "He was telling me all the time that you've got to learn this," Jadeja recalls.
