Comerica ups its minimum wage

Jan 3, 2018 - Banking and Credit News

Comerica Incorporated (NYSE: CMA) has announced its plan to increase its minimum wage to USD 15 per hour, effective Jan. 5, 2018, and to pay approximately 4,500 non-officer colleagues (more than half of its colleague population) a one-time bonus of USD 1,000 in January 2018, the company said.

This increase in minimum wage and one-time bonus are made possible by the tax reform bill that was passed by the US Congress, then signed by the President on Dec. 22, 2017.
