‘Buñuel in France’ at the Metrograph

Despite his early Surrealist triumphs and outrageous images — “Un Chien Andalou” and its razor-sliced eyeball, “L’Age d’Or” and its lovers writhing in the mud — it wasn’t until the eternally avant-garde Luis Buñuel was in his 60s that he made many of his best films. The Metrograph series, “Buñuel in France,” starting Friday, March 31, and running through April 3, features a handful of them.
