BLC Bank SAL engages in the provision of banking services. It operates through the following segments: Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Treasury, Private Banking, and Others. The Corporate banking segment includes services provided in relation to loans, other credit facilities, deposits and current accounts for corporate and institutional customers. The Retail banking segment covers retail lending, deposits, banking services, insurance brokerage services, overdrafts, credit card facilities, and funds transfer facilities. The Treasury segment handles treasury management, correspondent banking, proprietary trading, managing reserve, capital requirements, asset management, and foreign exchange transactions. The Private banking segment refers to the operations with private banking clients including fiduciary deposits, equities, bonds trading, foreign exchange and others.
