Baytex Energy inches higher, resistance at 12-day EMA March 03, 2017 17:00 EST

Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE), Canada's 19th largest Oil & gas - exploration & production company by market cap, has lifted 2.1% but fell short of the 12-day Exponential Moving Average [EMA] of CAD4.94. Compared with the S&P/TSX 60 Index which rose 4.4 points (0.5%) in the day, the relative price increase was 1.6%. The volume was 0.3 times the average daily trading volume of 6.8 million shares. The stock last traded at CAD4.81.
