Katanga Mining Limited (TSX:KAT), Canada's 48th largest Metals & mining company by market cap, has plummeted 4.50c (10.2%) from its last trading session of February 28 to close at 39.50c. Compared with the S&P/TSX 60 Index which rose 11.1 points (1.2%) in the day, the relative price change was -11.4%. The fall was exacerbated by spectacular volume of 7.0 times the average daily volume of 539,665 shares.
