Abbott Labs to sell Pleasant Prairie land to village for $37.5M

The village of Pleasant Prairie struck a deal with Abbott Labs to buy 458 acres near Interstate 94 from the Illinois company for $37.5 million to develop a new business park.

That land is the last big chunk of real estate in Pleasant Prairie where the village can attract more job-generating office and manufacturing developments, said village administrator Michael Pollocoff.
